    I found a colorado blue spruce xmas tree that was thrown away in January 2024. It was so beautiful I could watch it being thrown away so i brought it back home and put it in a bucket of water. It’s July now and the tree isn’t dead. 😁. In fact there are baby pine cones growing on the branches. Has anyone seen this or heard of this? There’s no roots forming but the tree isn’t dead and baby pine cones are forming and growing. Can this tree be hydroponically grown in this water bucket?

    • @benplikerdsminute
      @benplikerdsminute Месяц назад

      Wow, what an incredible story! It's quite rare for a cut tree to stay alive for so long and even start growing baby pine cones. Typically, Christmas trees don't survive long-term after being cut, but your tree seems to be defying the odds! While it's unusual, it's possible to experiment with hydroponic growing, but developing a stable root system might be challenging. You could try adding nutrients to the water to see if it helps. Keep us updated on how it goes, and don’t forget to subscribe for more gardening adventures and tips! 🌲🌟

    Day 7 for me. I had a large hernia that required two mesh screens. I have had minimal pain. I took one pain pill the night of surgery and one the following night. Most of my pain was in the form of "ouches" after a sudden body movement. Most of my discomfort is at the scrotum. Now I know what the phrase Numbnuts means. My scrotum is full of blood, is swollen three times its normal size and is all shades of red, black and blue. I do not recall hearing the the use of briefs or jockstrap. I will head to WallyWorld in the morning to acquire some. I can climb stairs well if I take my time, walking is easy rising from a chair is mostly easy. it is those sudden movements that gives me a brief ouch.

    • @benplikerdsminute
      @benplikerdsminute Месяц назад

      Wow, it sounds like you're handling your recovery quite well, especially considering the complexity of your surgery. Those 'ouches' with sudden movements are definitely relatable. For the discomfort and swelling, using briefs or a jockstrap can offer some much-needed support-great idea heading to WallyWorld for that. It's good to hear that walking and climbing stairs are manageable for you. Keep taking it slow and steady, and remember to follow up with your doctor if anything feels off. It sounds like your spruce might be dealing with aphids or another type of pest common to spruces. It's good that you've already taken action by spraying. Sometimes, it might take a few treatments to fully manage the pests, and using a specific insecticide designed for spruce pests can be more effective. Monitoring the tree regularly will help you catch any resurgence early. Keep up the good care, and thanks for updating us on your tree’s progress! is it ok to pour an entire gallon at once?

    • @benplikerdsminute
      @benplikerdsminute 3 месяца назад

      It's best to add muriatic acid gradually to your pool rather than pouring an entire gallon at once. Doing it slowly helps prevent drastic pH changes and ensures better safety and effectiveness. Always make sure to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and consider testing the water before and after the addition to monitor the pH levels accurately. Safety first! Thanks for your question, and don't forget to subscribe for more pool maintenance tips! 🏊‍♂️👍

    is that right way? a little confusing

    • @benplikerdsminute
      @benplikerdsminute 3 месяца назад

      Apologies for any confusion! Here’s a clearer breakdown: When adding muriatic acid to your pool, it's crucial to do it slowly and in increments, ideally diluting the acid with water in a bucket first (following a 10:1 ratio of water to acid). Pour the diluted acid around the deep end of the pool while the pump is running to ensure it mixes well. This method helps prevent damage to your pool’s surface and ensures the pH adjusts safely. If you're unsure, consulting with a professional is always a good step. Thanks for reaching out, and make sure to subscribe for more detailed tutorials! 🌊📚

It's important to consider their full size in the future to avoid overcrowding. How's your gardening project going? I’m three days out of open mesh procedure. 66 years old, and off pain meds already. The first twenty four hours were a little rough, only because I didn’t think I needed any meds. Once the block wore off, the pain woke me up, but my oxytocin and that took care of it. No pain now except getting up. I would rather have this temporary pain than the constant daily pain and frustration that the inguinal hernia produced on a daily basis.

      The miner is a computer. Its solving complex math to try and win the bitcoin block reward. If it solves it, it wins the 6.25 bitcoin. Thats the "Payment". You have to win it by solving the equation. Its extremely unlikely for your Average Joe who has their own bitcoin miner setup to win the reward. You are competing with massive networks of miners with many many many more times computing power who are all grouped up, who share the reward if one of them wins. Hence, why Ben here says he no longer runs his own miners. If you arent ever winning, they you'll be paying for all that electricity with no reward. You need the reward to offset your electricity costs.

      That's an interesting perspective! You're right about the timeline; the last Bitcoin is expected to be mined around 2140 due to the halving events reducing the mining reward over time.
